During our recent family getaway at the Maurachhof, we experienced a good blend of comfort and value that impressed us. Travelling with two other families and an older couple, it was important for us to find a place that catered to both parents and children. The rooms were clean and well-stocked, featuring essentials like an electric kettle and flat-screen TV, which made settling in easier. The abundant breakfast spread was another noteworthy aspect; it provided something for everyone, setting us up for our daily adventures. The highlight, however, was the farm area, complete with animals, a petting spot, and fun activities like pony rides and climbing frames. Our kids were thoroughly entertained and even asked to stay longer each day. The staff was always willing to assist, even accommodating a last-minute request for an extra room. With facilities like a sauna open to children, and picnic areas for family gatherings, the experience felt both luxurious and accessible. While it's clear you get what you pay for in terms of both service and amenities, this hotel stands out as an excellent choice for families seeking affordability without sacrificing quality.
